Tyler

I am a sophomore at Drexel University studying Computer Engineering. My hope is to specialize in hardware engineering, specifically GPUs or CPUs. In my spare time I enjoy working on my gaming rig and recently became interested in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Judo. I'm looking forward to my time at Wharton Computing. So, if you have any computer issues I'd be happy to help.

I am currently attending Drexel University for Computer Science with a concentration in Game Programming and Development. As you might be able to tell, my interests include playing video games, but I also enjoy many other things! I did a lot of performance art before college (theater, musicals, chorus, orchestra), and also enjoy many other artistic hobbies. I'm looking forward to spending the next six months here at Wharton Computing.

Austin

I am an sophomore in the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences studying Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. My hometown is in the suburbs of southern California and the city life in Philadelphia is a refreshing change. I've always loved technology and working at Wharton Computing has given me an opportunity to utilize my knowledge to help others, whether it be in person or over the phone. It's nice knowing that even in a competitive environment like Penn, there is always a way to reach out for any kind of technical support.

I am a Wharton sophomore studying Finance, with a potential focus in Statistics. I'm from Reston, which is a small town in Virginia about thirty minutes from D.C. In my free time I enjoy playing sports with friends. I hope that as I encounter problems with my own system I'll learn to solve them quickly and help others with them as well through Wharton Computing. The team here is beyond supportive, leading to students getting the help they need quickly.

Drew

I am sophomore in the Engineering school majoring in Computer Science. I grew up in Boone, North Carolina, where I lived for 15 years and moved to Durham for my junior and senior years of high school. Computers have always been a passion of mine, from the time I wrote my first “Hello World!” program to when I reassembled a computer in an engineering class. The Wharton Computing lab allows me to apply these interests in a great working environment and at the same time, teaches me how to use my knowledge of computers to aid people however I can. I look forward to working in such a friendly and collaborative environment and seeing what challenges come my way.

I am a double major in mathematics and computer science in the College and Engineering school. My hometown is Las Vegas, and I previously attended Pepperdine University in Malibu. I love music, food, and learning anything new and interesting. I started out as just a math major, but found the same passion for computer science after my first intro programming class. It must be something about solving problems, which is also what I find satisfying about working at Wharton Computing, addressing problems with computers/technology and finding ways to resolve the issues. The staff here is also amazing, so feel free to come in and ask me or any of them for help.

I am a Sophomore studying Computer Engineering with a potential minor in Japanese. I grew up and lived for 18 years in Mount Laurel in southern New Jersey and went to high school here in Philly at St. Joseph's Prep. I started out studying Chemical Engineering but found my passion in computer science after my first programming class here at Penn. I love playing Piano, speedrunning video games (beating a game as fast as possible), and generally learning/studying/experiencing new things. I hope that through working here at Wharton Computing I can get the opportunity to learn tons of new things while also helping people out with all different kinds of issues.

I am a junior studying Computer Science in the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. I was born and raised in the suburbs of DC in a town called Centreville, Virginia. I’ve always had a passion for working with computers and helping others. Luckily, Wharton Computing provides a relaxed environment that allows me to do both. When I’m not doing something with computers I also enjoy dancing in my free time and am heavily involved in Penn Hype Dance Crew and Freaks of the Beat. I look forward to helping you with your computer needs!

I am a senior studying Computer Science in the School Of Engineering. Although I live in Jersey now, I always like to mention that I was born in New York City. I find myself passionate about tech and in the near future I hope I can deep dive into a specific field within tech through different courses and work experience. At Wharton Computing, as we get visitors throughout the day it’s always interesting to hear about a cool project they’re working on or a course they’re taking that they highly recommend. The friendly staff at Wharton Computing also make it an incredibly welcoming environment so drop by if you need help and feel free to take some candy from the candy bowl before the good ones run out.
