Forwarding to Personal Gmail Account: Best Practices

Some students prefer to forward their Wharton email account to a personal Gmail account.  If this is what you want to do, it's best to follow the steps below.

Configure your Personal Gmail account for your Wharton Account

  1. Set up your Wharton and Alumni forwarding address aliases in Gmail. This will allow you to send and reply to emails from your Gmail account using your Wharton email address.
  2. Forward your Wharton account to your personal Gmail account.

If you decide to forward your email, you will not be able to use Wharton's Global Address List (GAL) in your alternate account. To use this address list you must log into your Wharton Gmail account.
