Video Conferencing with SKYPE / Google Hangout


All of Wharton's public-access computers have SKYPE available.  Google Hangout is also available in the Ground Floor Conference Stations. Conference stations are located at the end of the ramp at the Walnut Street Entrance. They are Windows 8 touch screens with Firefox, Chrome and Skype.


Using the Ground Floor Conference Stations

Directions for using the Skype / Google Hangout stations located on the Ground Level of JMHH, tucked behind the Timeline wall.

  1. Plug your headphones into the headphone jack as indicated in the picture below:

  2. Open the Skype or Google Hangout application and either create a new account (free) or log in with your existing account.
  3. Make sure that the computer’s sound is turned on. 

  4. Begin your conference!  If you noticed any problems with the internal microphone, the sound, or the quality of the webcam please contact Student Support at 215.898.8600 or http://spike.wharton.upenn.edu/support
