Yellowdig is an online pinboard used for sharing and discussing content. If your course is using Yellowdig, you can access your board by going to Canvas and selecting Yellowdig in the left-side navigation. Join the discussion by adding your own pins, commenting on other people's pins, and voting on comments and pins.
Troubleshooting: if you see the Yellowdig homepage instead of your course's Yellowdig board when you click the Yellowdig tab in Canavs, you may need to enable 3rd-party cookies in your browser. http://help.yellowdig.com/hc/en-us/articles/208400478-When-I-click-on-Yellowdig-in-my-LMS-I-only-see-the-Yellowdig-homepage
Receiving Canvas credit for a Yellowdig assignment
If your participation in Yellowdig is a graded assignment, you must connect your activity in Yellowdig to Canvas in order to receive credit. There are two ways to do this:
- In Canvas assignments, click on the assignment tied to your Yellowdig grade. When you access Yellowdig in Canvas, you will now see a message in the points module reading "Grading enabled and configured".
- On the Yellowdig board, in the points module, you will see the message, "Grading not configured. Fix this". Click "fix this" to connect to Canvas.
